Choosing a web designer is probably the most time consuming part of your whole music website project. Having to do all that work andinterviews and explaining and re-explaining the same things over and over to different people is what makes it so aggravating. Once this is done with you can rest at ease because the next steps are all much easier and flow smoother. After getting all of your ideas together (a good thing to do so that you aren’t at a loss when talking to your web designer) you can talk with them about what kind of layout you are going to want and how you want your whole website set up.
After picking out everything the most important thing that your web designer is going to ask you for is your content. This is something that you NEED to give your web designer. Some people feel that this step is unimportant and they don’t understand the concept of content or what it is. Content is all the text and images that are going to be included in your website. All of this has to come from you because…. well, just because. I mean, how can you expect your web designer to generate content about you without knowing anything about you in the first place. You have a couple of choices, you can either provide all the content exactly how you want it written or you can submit a bunch of information about yourself to a content writer so that they can produce some well written content.
Without this content there is no way for your web designer to complete your project, so you should get on it. Try to get your content to your web designer in a timely fashion so that they can complete your music website even faster.
