What is a promotional website?
A promotional website is typically a small website that is heavy on the design side of things so that its short lived presence online can be highly impactful; representing a one time service, event, or product offering. Promotional sites are sometimes used for specials, deals, major coupon or giveaways, town fairs, concerts, and so on.
What about a landing page. I have heard of that before. What is a landing page?
A landing page is typically a 1 page website or a standalone page to represent a website. Often times a promotional website is a 1 page website (or landing page) which is why we refer to it here in this section.
How much does it cost to put together a promotional website?
Our promotional web design solutions typically involve both the design of the site and marketing which is priced out separately. The cost for the website itself is usually somewhere between $500 and $2,000.00. It just depends. The larger and more involved the project is, the more expensive it becomes. Promotional sites typically have little functionality however, if there was an online booking, purchasing, or reservation type tool, it may be more than a site that has none of these items.
How long does it take to put together a promotional site?
Typically a site in this category takes a week or two. We put up a placeholder page right away so you have something while the actual page or site itself is made. It just depends on how involved it is, much like pricing.
Do you host the website as well?
Yes, the website is also hosted by us in almost all cases. Our hosting is also handled on a month to month basis, making it easy to cancel and pull the site down once the promotion is over.
What happens to the website after it comes down?
We back it up, keep a copy of it, give you a copy, then do whatever you want with the domain. Typically the domain is just forwarded to another web address and then it is renewed or let to expire depending on whether or not you need it again.
Will my promotional web design solution be supported by all the major internet browsers?
Yes. We test the site in all the major modern browsers. We also test it on smartphones and tablets since almost everything we create is responsive, meaning it will work well on these devices too.
